The history of Sinclair is deeply intertwined with that of its founder, Gina Lunardon, and with the territory in which the brand was born. Raised in an environment where artisanal tradition coexisted with a growing manufacturing culture, Gina developed from an early age a distinctive sensitivity to materials, craftsmanship, and the value of time applied to product creation.
In the 1970s, Sinclair took its first steps in the production of leather garments, collaborating with boutiques and commercial partners across various regions of Italy. It was during this period that the brand laid the foundations of its identity: an Italian artisanal manufacturing approach capable of combining functionality, elegance, and material quality.
Over the years, the company grew while remaining firmly anchored to its original values. Production continued to be rooted in Italy, favoring artisanal processes, meticulous attention to detail, and a vision of menswear that does not follow trends, but moves through them.
Since 1990, Sinclair has been guided by the second generation of the family, with Pierantonio Marini consolidating and developing the brand while maintaining a clear direction: to create men’s jackets and outerwear that embody an authentic balance between manufacturing tradition, Italian identity, and contemporary sensibility.
Today, Sinclair continues along this path with the same philosophy—crafting garments designed to stand the test of time, shaped by experience, consistency, and deep respect for the artisanal craft.
